These Moments
One really never really knows what is going on behind the scenes in someone’s life. I am happy that Mr. Curran shared many of his moments/stories in this book. Some of them are sweet and charming (I especially loved the antics of his dear old Mom) while others left me tearing, and some just made me laugh out loud.
What was fascinating about reading the stories is how differently we experienced our childhoods. For me growing up on a farm in Portland, Oregon and playing in the woods, the barn and fields was a vast contrast to Mr. Curran’s NYC concrete playground. The dissimilarity was eye-opening and fun for me. I throughly enjoyed being taken though his thought provoking journey.
