One really never really knows what is going on behind the scenes in someone’s life. I am happy that Mr. Curran shared many of his moments/stories in this book. Some of them are sweet and charming (I especially loved the antics of his dear old Mom) while others left me tearing, and some just made me laugh out loud.

“These Moments” with its flashes of both humor and melancholy has something of the feel of Frank McCourt’s “Angela’s Ashes,” another son of Ireland. It’s a good read and certainly worth some of your moments.
